WOW! I cannot believe the Christmas Season is here!
This is the time of year when we start thinking about our Christmas Shopping Lists. We ask ourselves
- What would I like to receive from my family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers?
- Who do I need to buy gifts for and how much am I going to spend?
- What do I have that can be re-gifted? (laugh)
The Christmas Decorations start appearing inside and outside of our homes. In many cities, towns, and shopping malls, Christmas Trees and Decorations are on display. Christmas Music is streaming through the air from the speakers hidden in the ceilings high above our heads as we window shop to view the latest trends in fashion and electronics.
The chefs in our families start to plan the menu for that special Christmas Dinner. Many of us will be planning to settle down to a menu that includes; Cornish Hens, Macaroni and Cheese, Collard Greens, Pear Salad with Walnuts, and Raspberry Vinaigrette. Let’s not forget dessert. I am specifically talking about desserts such as, Pecan Pie or Cream Cheese Pound Cake topped with a scoop of our favorite ice cream.
Let’s not forget about those who are struggling with lost and sad memories during this season. Maybe you have lost a loved-one; such as a parent, child, or spouse. Maybe you have unexpectedly lost a job. Maybe you have gone through a divorce and your children are scheduled to spend the holidays with your ex-spouse. I would like to say to everyone that may be experiencing sadness and loss, “God sees you! He loves you! You are not alone!” In addition, there are people that are embracing you with their love and compassion. Lift up your eyes and heart to receive that smile that comes from a passing stranger. Reach out to someone to offer comfort and joy to another lonely heart.
Throughout this Christmas Season, DJ HiPrayze Radio will be broadcasting 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to bring you the best in music that inspires and uplifts. Tune in to experience the Joy of the Lord! Listed below are examples of songs that will be heard throughout this season.
Merry Christmas! Please keep in mind that Jesus Christ is the Reason for this Season!
