Recently, many people have been made aware of the phrase “Black Lives Matter” due to the world-wide public protests against police oppression and brutality. So many black people have lost their lives and freedom while doing things that are very human; such as, walking from the corner store and sitting in a parked car with friends.
It’s not enough to empathize with the families and communities that have experienced these senseless tragedies. It’s time for everyone to stand against injustice.
Throughout history, music has fueled the consciousness of movements. For example, during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s, protestors echoed the sentiment of the cause by singing songs; such as, “I Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around” and “We Shall Overcome”.
DJ HiPrayze Radio is taking a stand by playing songs that speak to the #BlackLivesMatter Movement. Listed below are songs that have been included within the #BlackLivesMatter Playlist that will be played frequently to keep this in the forefront of the world collective consciousness.
Our prayer is that the #BlackLivesMatter Movement will change this world for our children, grandchildren, and generations-unborn.
When black lives matter, then all lives truly matter!!!
